When we started Josei Jewelry, we did it as an expression of our philosophy, and to promote the values that we think will make us stronger as women.  Wearing symbols of the Samurai warrior spirit can serve as a reminder that we are more powerful when we follow our instincts and our principles, and when we understand that it is our responsibility to help each other.  

One of the biggest tragedies of the Covid-19 Pandemic has been the increase in domestic violence and abuse. Families are in disarray, as alcoholism is on the rise and people feel like they are trapped within the confines of their hostile environments. Many women don’t even know about the options that are available to them through domestic violence shelters and access to legal recourse. We feel like we need to do more to help these brave mothers, daughters and wives who need a place to shelter until this “storm” passes.  To that end, we are donating all of our profits from sales of our Josei Jewelry pieces to Domestic Violence shelters. We all need to do our part to make the world better again, and we can’t think of a better way to do this than by donating to causes that are making the most difference on the front lines.

This Mother’s Day, the greatest gift we can give each other is support and shelter when we need it the most.  This is our chance to put all of the principles that define us as women and warriors into practice.
